Nezumi Uematsu - Age 14- Height 5'4''- Shihan: Master Sibyl
Nezumi grew up on a small farming village. She spent nine of her 14 years taking care of her 8 year old brother, Togoro. Their mother died of an illness after giving birth to Togoro and their father disappeared unexplainably soon after.
One tragic day, while Nezumi was collecting the fall harvest she left Togoro in the care of some of the older women of the village. That's when witnesses say a roaring wave of fire engulf the entire village without warning killing everything in it's path instantly. Only Nezumi and a few others were spared because they weren't in the wave's path. Nezumi joined The Academy with hopes to get strong enough to defeat the demon she believes responsible for the event.
Juste Matsuo- Age 16- Height 5'8"- Shihan: Weapon(s)- Dual wrist blades
Born in the bustling city of Tonko, Juste spent most of his years as a happy- go -lucky guy until the day Tonko city was burned to the ground. After returning home from school one day on his 13th birthday, Juste found his parents lying in a pool of blood and the murderer standing over their lifeless bodies. The last thing Juste remembered from that moment was the green eyes of the shrouded figure staring at him. When Juste awoke the following week he found himself in a hospital where he was told that the entire city of Tonko had been burned down mysteriously and that some how he was the only survivor with minor burns. The same incident would later be blamed for the wave that destroyed Nezumi's village. Juste shortly left the hospital without anyone knowing. He doesn't know why or how he survived but he believes if he found the demon who he believes killed his family, he'll find the answers he wants.

Juste is an 'extension' of Rook sent to collect a soul for him while he (Rook) recovered from his weakened state after escaping his prison in the demon world over 5 years ago. For whatever reason, Juste appeared as a younger version of Rook and developed his own personality. After spending some time wondering the streets of Tonko, Juste was taken in by a family. It was nearly a year later when Rook discovered Juste and murdered those close to him. In an attempt to avoid being reabsorbed by Rook, Juste accidently destroyed Tonko and everything around the city.
Li Hunter- Age 15- Height 5'6''- Shihan: Weapon(s)- Broadsword
The only son of a rich philanthropist, Li's life was planned out before he was even conceived. His friends, what schools he would attend, what career he would take even what family he would marry into was all planned out ahead of time by his wealthy parents. This was something Li never felt comfortable with but never had the nerve to voice his opinion to his family. Until one day, while return home from a private school, Li's limousine was caught in the middle of a battle between a stone demon and a Dan from The Academy. Li was amazed by how this person could go toe-to-toe with such a demon. After that day he decided to join The Academy. He left a written note for his parents to find and snuck out of their estate one night. He hasn't spoken to his family since.

Li looses his life to his partner, Rook, who's only purpose was to gain Li's trust to acquire more lives from his soul.

A Shihan apparently from Europe ( due to his accent ), no one knows much about who he is or why he enrolled in The Academy.

Rook is a Pandora. A deadly and forgotten race of unrevealed origin locked away by demons in their world. Pandora uses human souls for live and demon souls for power. During his time at The Academy, Rook has secretly been collecting demon souls and 'grooming'his partner Li Hunter for his soul.
Sarikai-The Headmistress-
Sarikai is said to be over 700 years old thanks to the Genji. A woman never tells her true age but when she was younger she met a demon that would change her life. That demon was Bishamon, the son of a demon highlord. At her request, Bishamon gave Sarikai the power of the Genji. Even though it's an unstable demonic power,Sarikai passed that power on to those who enroll in The Academy, a military school of demon slayers she originated.
Instructor Jai Domino-
Jai and his wife Sarah were Shihans at the Academy until his mistake left Sarah in a coma for over 3 years. Since then Jai decided to become an Instructor, until one day he got word that his wife had awaken from her coma.

Tears is a Sworddancer. By using the Genji he can create and type, size, or shape of blade. After spending 10 years at The Academy( 8 on the field, 2 as an Instructor) Tears left on a mission to translate a mysterious demonic scroll that mentioned a coming evil. His journey lead him to Einherjar.

Cree Youngblood Cree is Tears' younger sister. The two were seperated when they were children and their parents divorced. After sometime apart Cree discovered her brother when she joined The Academy. She opted to leave with him to translate the demonic scroll. Her partner at the time was Li Hunter and even though she'd never admit it, she fell in love with him at first sight. Cree died of her injuries at Hunter's side after fighting Rook.

Mitsuhide Kawakami ( The Cowboy Samurai) After an argument with his father Mitsuhide left his home and Tonko behind one night. The next day Tonko had been wiped off the map. Since then Mitsuhide became a solo act at fighting demons hoping one day to find the one he thinks destroyed Tonko.
Ashe Miyamoto ( The Ninja)
Ashe was hired by Einherjar to retrieve a soul shard from a Descendant. After running across Juste and Nezumi, who were tricked into fighting , Ashe killed Juste. To his surprise Juste resurrected to even the score. This time as a Pandora.
